Migrating to the Lead Connector API v3

Moving LinkedConnector onto the latest version of the core CRM API — faster syncs, steadier data, and the headroom to build what's next.

Daniel Marr

What it does

  • Rebuilds LinkedConnector's connection to your CRM on the newer Lead Connector API v2
  • Speeds up the sync between LinkedIn actions and your contact records
  • Makes webhooks, triggers, and workflow events more reliable
  • Opens up newer API capabilities that the older version simply can't reach
  • Runs behind the scenes — no reconnecting, no setup, nothing you need to do

Why it matters

Everything LinkedConnector does inside your CRM — updating contacts, firing triggers, moving data between LinkedIn and your workflows — runs through this API. The version we're on has served well, but it's the older generation, and it caps how fast and how far we can build.

Version 2 lifts that cap. Data moves quicker, triggers fire more dependably, and the newer capabilities it unlocks become the foundation for future features. You won't have to touch a thing — but you'll notice a platform that's faster and steadier underneath you.
